The agenda of this first session has been designed to address the expectation of all the SLEIGHT's stakeholders.
The first event covered SLEIGHT in its full diversity:
- the scientists active in the three research axis explained their research programmes,
- one doctoral student defended his thesis during the week and thereby offered an opportunity for all, in particular younger students to attend,
- master students presented short laboratory projects,
- a poster session was organised,
- and last, not least, three outstanding speakers delivered extended lectures and throw light on three major research challenges addressed by SLEIGHT.
Time slots in the programmes were devoted to discussions and social interactions as well.
